Nestled where Andean mist dissolves into volcanic soil, Finca Mastelo came to life in 2019 with a single, uncompromising conviction: that altitude, patience, and intention could produce something worthy of the world's finest cups.

Every cherry we hand-select at peak ripeness, every day we turn the seeds on sun-warmed African drying beds, is a meditation on terroir — on what this particular mountain, under this particular sky, grown by these particular hands, has to offer.

The Heart Behind the Cup

Danny and María Beatriz built this farm not as a business venture, but as a foundation — a means to honour the sacrifices woven quietly into the fabric of their daily lives. Two daughters carry the weight of their parents' dreams.

Melany, whose figure skates carve arcs of discipline and grace onto the ice, training before dawn in a sport that demands everything. And Maddy, four years old, whose extraordinary curiosity is being shaped at home, one patient lesson at a time. The farm is their runway. The coffee is how we keep the engines running.

There is a beautiful, improbable poetry in it: the warmth of the Colombian highlands — sun-drenched African beds, caramelizing honey mucilage, volcanic earth — channelled into the crisp, silent discipline of an ice rink in Utah.

Every early morning at the rink, every session of jumps and spins Melany lands with breathtaking precision, is paid for by the land. This is why we grow. This is why we roast. This is why, when you open a bag of Coffee Mastelo, you are not simply choosing a specialty coffee.
